Santa Monica, CA—

The Santa Monica College (SMC) Football program announced another student athlete signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his career at a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college.

Richard Harbor III of Carson High School became the fourth Corsair football player to sign a football scholarship this offseason with Chadron State College (CSC) in Chadron, Nebraska.  Harbor will join Tyree Fryar, Riku Kitamura, and Marvin Williams on the Eagles football roster this fall.

Harbor is the son of SMC Football alum Richard Harbor Jr. who played football for Coach Robert Taylor from 1994-1996 before transferring to a four year college to continue his own playing career.  Both attended a signing ceremony in the Skybox overlooking Corsair Stadium to sign the paperwork to complete Harbor III's commitment to CSC.
