Football Ranked in #9 in SCFA American Division Poll

The Santa Monica College Corsair football team is ranked #9 in the CCCAA/SCFA American Division Poll.  The Corsairs have gone 3-2 over the past 5 weeks while playing 4 straight Top 10 ranked SCFA American Division teams.  The Corsairs showed their poise while beating both LA Harbor College and Pasadena City College with some late game heroics.

This is the second time the Corsairs Football team has been recognized this week after Jordan Lawrence (So, LB) and Trevor Nofoa (So, WR) were selected as SCFA American Division players of the week. Head Coach Kelly Ledwith said this about the new ranking, "Our players and coaches have worked extremely hard to dig us out of the hole we put ourselves in to start the year.  It is great to see our team getting recognition for their efforts."
