Corsairs Win Opener on Last-Second Shot

For the second time in as many years, the Santa Monica College Corsairs needed their final shot to defeat the Cerritos Falcons.  With just 1.5 seconds left on the clock, Corsair forward Chris Camper tipped in a missed shot to give the Corsairs a 72-71 lead and ultimately the victory.

Santa Monica was lead in scoring by Keilan Horton, who scored 23 points on 8-14 shooting.  David Nwaba chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds.

Santa Monica takes the court again Thursday Novebmer 15th at 8pm in the first round of the Irvine Valley Tournament.
