Danny Ofallon--Asst Coach

The Corsairs defeated Long Beach City College  82-74 in the first round of the Irvine Valley Classic. The Corsairs found a groove early and led by as much as 20 points in the first half.  With big shots late by freshman guard Joe Robinson, the Corsairs were able to withstand a late charge by Long Beach sealing the victory and advance to the semis. Robinson led the way with 28pts and 4asts. Freshman forward Jhamad Norwood added 18 pts and 12rebs.  Sophomore Isaiah Ajiboye added 14pts and 9rebs in the victory. The Corsairs next round opponent is the host school Irvine Valley.
