Corsairs fall to Compton College

In a thrilling, high scoring game, the Corsairs suffered their second loss of the season to Compton College. The game was fast paced with both teams pressing.  The Corsairs took an early lead with two monster dunks by freshman Michael Fry. Compton was able to take the early punch and go on a run of their own before half leading 55-43. In the second half the Corsairs never gave up and made it a game late behind the play of freshman guard Brandon Russell. The Corsairs came up short of victory, but showed a lot of potential.   Brandon Russell, led the team in scoring with 25pts, 6rebs, 5stls. Michael Fry added 12pts, 7rebs, and 7blks. Dwight Murray and Joe Robinson respectively had 16 and 14 points.
