Justin Maidenberg joined the Santa Monica College Men's Basketball staff in September 2017.  Prior to arriving at SMC, he spent the 2015-2017 season at the University of San Diego (NCAA Division 1) as a video intern for the Men's basketball team.  Coach Maidenberg started his coaching career while pursuing his Bachelor's Degree.  He has coached at the middle school and high school levels working with both boys and girls. 

Coach Maidenberg's responsibilities in the program at Santa Monica College will include player development, working with both guards and post players, recruitment, offensive and defensive schemes, scouting, travel, and other duties as assigned.

Coach Maidenberg graduated from the University of San Diego with a Master's Degree in Leadership Studies.  He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Philosophy.
