In an exciting fashion, the Men's Soccer team brought winning ways immediately to Santa Monica College.  With several VIPs in attendance, the Corsairs jumped out to an early lead behind a breakaway goal from Samuel Medina in the 9th minute.  Santiago Canyon returned the favor in minute 36 and the game went into halftime at 1-1.

The second half belonged to the Corsairs.  Goals by Alessandro Canales and Eric Fakhourian, along with stellar goal keeping by Kevin Alonzo put the game out of reach.

The Corsairs return to action on Tuesday afternoon as the second half of a double header.  The women's team kicks off at 1pm, followed by the men at 3pm.
