Back to back goals by Luis Fuentes and Eric Fakhourian in the 13th minute of the game were all the cushion that the upstart Corsairs needed today against College of the Desert.  Goalkeeper Kevin Alonzo held Desert at bay for the rest of the game, allowing just one goal in the first half.

The Corsairs take the show on the road for the next 5 games - at Victor Valley 9/7, Oxnard 9/11, Moorpark 9/14, Allan Hancock 9/18, and Palomar 9/21.  They return for some home cookin' against Glendale 9/25.
