Santa Monica Head Men's Soccer Coach Tim Pierce announced that team captain Rudi Ibrahim has signed a scholarship to attend Queens College in New York.  Queens College is an NCAA Division II program.   Ibrahim, who was a two year starter at Santa Monica College will join the Knights as they look to improve on their 8-6-2 record.    During Ibrahim's two years at SMC the team compiled a 29-8-8 record and at one point was ranked #8 in the state.  

Ibrahim was also a scholar athlete at SMC carrying a 3.8 GPA.   After his signing Ibrahim had these words to say about his experience at Santa Monica College: "SMC has been an ideal place to witness the fast growth of American soccer and to be able to work towards higher education.  It has been a pleasure to be a part of it.  I'm proud to be SMC!"
