The Santa Monica College Men's Soccer picked up two wins in the opening week of the 2018 season. Their first victory Tuesday August 28 was over Bakersfield College 2-0.
On Friday August 31 the team recorded another 2-0 victory over El Camino College. Freshman goalkeeper Aydin Kose collected a pair of shutouts along with a backline lead by Co Captains Cesar Oliva and Ruben Soria.
Goals were scored by Cyrille Njomo, Jaylen Erhahon, Yoel Cohavy and Eto Atiabet. Captain Narciso Cervantes also contributed with two assists.
The Corsairs return to action next week traveling south to take on both Palomar (September 6) and Miracosta College (September 7).
