Santa Monica College Men's Soccer Head Coach Tim Pierce announced this week that Sophomore Captain Cesar Oliva (El Camino High School) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play next year at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
"I would like to thank the amazing coaching staff at SMC for pushing me everyday to be better on the field," stated Oliva. "I would also like to thank my family and friends who have helped me throughout this journey."
Oliva was a two year starter and a two time All Western State Selection both years at SMC. Oliva was an integral part of the 2018 Men's Soccer Conference Championship team at SMC.
"The coaching staff and the SMC Community are happy for Cesar," stated Coach Pierce. "We wish him the best of luck on his journey beyond SMC. He leaves some tough shoes to fill because he is a young man filled with heart and character."
