• Our Men's 4 x 100m team (Dayan Oduma, Edward Lampley, James Rincon and  Devyn Deckard) ran a personal best time by one second to take 5th place and automatically qualify to the Southern California Championships.
• Baldomero Cruz followed up with a 5th place finish in the Men's 1500 meters and an automatic qualifying performance into the So. Cal. Championships.
• Dyan Oduma - a young man who just learned how to hurdle two months ago took a 5th place in a very competitively and highly contested Men's 110 High Hurdles to automatically qualify into the So. Cal. Championships.
• Jamelah Grate garnered a 5th place finish in both the women's 100 meters and the 200 meters to automatically qualify in both events for the So. Cal. Championships.
• Owen Ljung took 7th place in the Men's 800 meters and will automatically qualify after a couple runners scratched from the event.
• Devyn Deckard improved by three seconds in the men's 400 Intermediate Hurdles, going from the last qualifier into the WSC championships to taking a spectacular 4th place finish and automatically qualifying for the So. Cal. Championships.
• Our Men's 4x400 meter relay team (Fred Herarte, Owen Ljung, Armani Gates and Devyn Deckard) fought adversity having to run in the second heat of the race and not having the opportunity to run with the fastest teams in the first heat.  They immediately took control of the race and found themselves against the clock to turn in a personal best time that beat four teams from the first heat to gain an automatic qualifying time into the So. Cal. championships as the 5th place overall finishers.
• Genesis Smith turned in his most consistent performance of the season in the triple jump to take a strong 3rd place finish and receiving an automatic birth into the S. Cal. Champs in both the Long Jump last weekend with a 6th place finish and the triple jump this weekend.

Christina Armstrong turned in strong performances in the women's shot put and is an alternate for the shot put and the Javelin
