SMC Beats LAVC 12-5

The Santa Monica College Softball team defeated LA Valley College 12-5 on Tuesday, March 5, in a dominant performance. The Corsairs took control of the game after scoring three runs in back to back in the 3rd and 4th innings.  SMC out hit the Monarchs of LAVC 21-13 while the Corsair pitchers struck out LAVC twice.

The Corsairs were led by freshmen Anahys Patino and Hal'ia Jimenez - who each scored two runs on the day.

The Corsairs return to the field Thursday March 7th at 2:30pm for a home contest vs Moorpark College at John Adams Middle School.
