Santa Monica College Women's Basketball won its second consecutive Consolation Championship defeating Citrus College 74-69 in the Cypress College Invitational Tournament.  

The Corsairs were led by Katya Echavez, (23 points), Jessica Melamed (19 points), Lauren Davis (13 points, 12 rebounds) and Jada Gambrah (12 points, 12 rebounds).

Sophomore Forward Lauren Davis (Hamilton High) was selected to the All Tournament team. 

SMC Women's Basketball returns to action December 16 vs. Delta College in the first round of the College of San Mateo/Tom Martinez Invitational Tournament.
