The Santa Monica College Women's Basketball team opened the 2017 - 2018 season with a win over San Diego Mesa.  The Corsairs featured balanced scoring in route to the win.  

SMC was led by Jessica Melamed (18 points), Rejinae Crandell (17 points), Jazzmin Oddie (17 points), Maylene Cabral (13 points) and Angelina Moreno (11 points).  

Santa Monica continues its two game home stand with a 5:00 p.m. game Saturday November 4 vs. Santa Ana College.
