When starting goalkeeper Cindy Godina went down with an ankle injury just prior to halftime, the Lady Corsairs knew they'd be facing a big challenge.  What they didn't know is that freshman Monique Boe would turn in one of the best performances in recent memory.  Boe made stellar save after save to protect SMC's 1-0 lead.

The lead came in the 33rd minute, when Briana Mackey headed in a free kick by Meg Pierce.  Yet again, one goal was all these tough Corsairs needed.
