Trio of Santa Monica College Women's Soccer sign Letters of Intent

SMC women's soccer has made a historic first this past season with its continued placing of its current and past Santa Monica College Women's Soccer players. From left to right Nathaly Lopez (2014-15), Brittney Chow (2014-15) and Natalie Rey (2014-16) have all respectively signed letters of intent and will continue their student-athlete careers at four-year universities. Never in SMC women's soccer history has the program had three student-athletes receive athletic commitments in one year.

Nathaly Lopez committed to St. Gregory's University

"Being able to play two years at SMC has helped me  become a successful player and person. I have faced many challenges in this journey, but  those challenges have improved my skill and mind set to be ready to compete at the next level. I am thankful for the opportunity to play at St. Gregory's University and grateful for the coaches at SMC for guiding me in this process."

Brittney Chow committed to Fresno Pacific University

"My time at SMC has been a great experience. The program and coaching staff have helped develop me as a player and person, and have helped me take my game to the next level. Without the resources provided here at SMC, I would not have been as successful as I am now."

Natalie Rey committed to Colorado Mesa University

"I am beyond grateful for my journey here at SMC. From my teammates, athletic trainers, athletic directors, and especially my coaches. Everyone has supported me and has shaped me into the person and player I am today. SMC has taught me things that I will carry on to CMU and for the rest of my life!"
