Head Coach Aaron Benditson on Espinoza's accomplishments:  "I am extremely proud of her accomplishments and it is a well deserved opportunity for an individual who has overcome many challenges and continues to do so everyday.  Josselline was one of our top players on this past year's team. She is a a dynamic attacking midfielder who had a fantastic vision of the game while also showed her ability and composure in front of the goal.  Josselline is a product of embracing the culture of the women's soccer program here at SMC. When our student-athletes portray honesty and hard-work they can achieve anything they put their minds to."

Espinoza was very excited about her accomplishments at Santa Monica College.  "First of all, I want to thank god for giving me so many opportunities in life. I also want to thank my family for supporting me no matter what. I also want to thank my coaches who have pushed me to become a better player and grow as a person. Not only did they teach me about soccer, but they also taught me life lessons. I want to thank my teammates.  They were a hardworking group of people and I couldn't have done it without them. I appreciate all their support. I am truly blessed to have been a part of SMC Women's Soccer program. Last but not least, KWU here I come!"
