The Santa Monica College Women's Soccer team, ranked #16 Santa Monica College by the United Soccer Coaches Poll took on #15 Rio Hondo College. The game ended in a draw after 90 minutes in tough competition but the match was a battle on both sides of the ball.
SMC led in shots with 13 compared to RHC's 7. Santa Monica College Goal keeper Yosemite Cruz kept a clean sheet for the match in goal for the Corsairs. The Corsairs stated off strong in the first half and continued to work hard for the game.
The SMC Corsairs go on the road Friday September 21 to take on LA Harbor College at 4pm.
