The Santa Monica College Women's Soccer qualified for the California Community College Regional playoffs. The Corsairs will open on the road this Saturday at Chaffey College. Kickoff is 2:00 p.m.
For the playoffs, SMC is the #11 seed, while Chaffey is the #6 seed. Earlier this season the teams played to a 1-1 tie.
The Corsairs finished second in Western State Conference South Division. SMC is ranked 11th in the region going into playoffs. The Corsairs season record is 14-4-3.
As a result of the team's success this season, nine Corsairs were selected to the All-Conference team.
First-Team: Ashley Heravi, Ruth Pelaez, Dayli Ramos, Ceirra Little
Second-Team: Taylor Brown, Anika Williams, Narumi Kamiya
Honorable Mention: Meredith Gomez, Giselle Lopez
