The SMC Athletic Department and specifically its Women's Soccer program want to congratulate Antoinette Saldana on her commitment to sign and continue her student-athletic career at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Saldana was a  two-time all Western State Conference first team selection from El Segundo High School. She had a tremendous student-athlete career at SMC totaling 20 goals and 17 assists (57 points) in two seasons. In 2018 Saldana was one of the Corsair captains and she made history at SMC helping the Lady Corsairs win back to back Conference championships in 2017 and 2018.

Aside from her excellence on the field she was equally dynamic in the classroom where she earned and was able to sustain a cumulative 3.6 GPA. "She was a fantastic example to her teammates of how a model student-athlete should conduct themself both on and off the field," stated Head Coach Aaron Benditson.  "As a captain she was a tremendous leader and always portrayed strength and poise to her fellow teammates which in turn gave our team a lot of confidence when she was a part of our program.  We are all extremely proud of her and the accomplishments she has had in such a short amount of time. Best of luck to Antoinette Saldana at CSUDH and to begin competing in the prestigious CCAA."
