SMC Women's tennis team clinched a playoff spot in the CCCAA playoffs today with a 5-4 win over 2nd place Glendale. With only 2 matches remaining the undefeated Corsairs are guaranteed a tie as the 2014 Western State Conference Champions If SMC wins on Thursday, March 20th versus Antelope Valley, they will be the sole champions of the Western State Conference.
The SMC women's tennis team also won WSC titles in 2010, 2011 and 2013. In 2011 SMC captured the triple crown of California Community college tennis winning the team, singles and doubles state championships.
