Santa Monica College Women's Tennis team fell to the
Glendale College Vaqueros 6-3 at Ocean View Park in Santa Monica.
Thursdays loss was Santa Monca's first defeat in Western State Conference dual match competition since April 2012. Beginning in 2013 the Corsairs tallied up 21 straight consecutive WSC wins without a defeat.
Highlights of the day included wins at #1 and #2 singles by Mayra Jovic and Izabel Nazdracheva respectively. Jovic and Nazdracheva then teamed up at #1 doubles to get the third Corsair point for the day.
