The Santa Monica Women's Volleyball team has put together what they believe to be a winning combination of returners and newcomers that are looking to compete for the Western State Conference crown.  Led by sophomores Jane Siri, Angela Rinaldi, Ilyn Butac, Shay Hassenfratz, Janeth Ramos and Lani Mikaele, the team has their sights set on the top of the standings.  Newcomers Thalia Alvarez, Kendell Beebe, Valerie Carrillo, Jenae Jenkins, Bianca Ngo, Hannah Pope, Lauren Rosell, Michelle Smith and Justyce Smith round out what should be an extremely competitive roster.

The team is led by Head Coach Nicole Ryan and Assistant Coach Mariko Coverdale.  The season begins on September 5, 2012 with a home contest against El Camino College.  Start time is 6 pm at Corsair Pavilion.
