SMC Women’s Volleyball awarded six selections on All-Western State Conference team

The Western State Conference Women’s Volleyball Coaches voted and released the All-Conference volleyball selections for the 2014 season this week.

Head Coach Nicole Ryan led the Corsairs to their best season in recent memory and as a result was selected Co Coach of the Year for her efforts. 

SMC had six selections on the All-conference team with Freshman Outside Hitter Greta Schmittdiel leading the way.   The Santa Monica College ALL WSC selections are listed below:

The 17th Ranked Santa Monica College Women’s Volleyball finished the regular season with an 18-6 record, which is the best in recent school history.  The team finished the season with #11 ranking in Southern California.
