The Lady Hornets had a great night at home on Friday sweeping Santa Monica College in three sets. Putting it together with a group of mostly new talent, it was the second consecutive win for FC this season.
FC made it look easy in a game one winning big 25-7. In game two, Fullerton remained hot holding the Corsairs to only 5 points. The Hornets capped off a strong night taking the third and final set 25-14 winning their fourth non-conference match of the season.
Kill leaders for FC were Saylor Frew (8) and Samaria Longstreet (7), while Karen Delgadillo dished out 24 assists. Priscilla Gutierrez kept very busy scooping up 11 digs on the night.
Up Next: Fullerton (4-3 overall) will host Long Beach City College on Wednesday, September 18th for another non-conference match. Game time is at 6:00 pm.
