Undefeated Santa Monica deals Mt. SAC setback

(Santa Monica, CA) After a two-week layoff, Mt. SAC (3-4) came up short, 6-3, against host Santa Monica (6-0) on Tuesday, May 18.

Three of the singles matches went to three sets, two of which ended in the Mounties' favor (Priscilla Pranajasa and Rebecca Contreras). In doubles play, the team of Contreras/Priya Singh won its match, 9-7.

Mt. SAC travels to Costa Mesa on Thursday, May 20, for a contest with Orange Coast (10-0). The match begins at 2 p.m., but, due to COVID-19 restrictions, no spectators are allowed.
