Women's Soccer: Win Streak Halted In Santa Monica

Citrus Women's Soccer continued Western State Conference South division play on Tuesday at Santa Monica. The Owls lost to the Corsairs 1-2. 

The loss ends an impressive 11-game win streak by the Owls dating back to September 24th. The ladies move to 13-5 overall, and a 10-1 conference record. Despite the setback, Citrus still sits atop the competitive conference. 

The Citrus goal came in the 50th minute by Berenice Mancinas, who was assisted by Monica Perez. The goal was the 6th of 2019 for the freshman midfielder. Perez posted her 6th assist of the year on the play.

The Owls take the pitch again on Friday at home against Glendale. Game time is 3:00 in the stadium.
