Antelope Valley College Women's Volleyball dropped a conference match 3-1 to Santa Monica College on Wednesday.
The Marauders got a promising start with a 25-21 win in set one. But the Corsairs were too much from that point on, winning the next three 25-11, 25-11, and 25-14.
Kylee Eubanks-Hemme led the Marauders with 10 kills and 7 digs. Nicole Fletes had a team-high 16 digs with 19 assists. Cameron Nelsen added 14 digs with 2 aces, while Julia Mueller had 4 kills and 8 digs.
AVC is now 3-11 overall and will next play West LA at home on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 6 pm.
