SMC's track teams continue their season this Saturday at Cerritos College.   The following individuals will compete to advance to the State Championships:

Men's 4 x 100 Relay Team - Devyn Deckard, Sharieff Reed, Omar Carranza, Jordan Herrera  Alternate runner: James Rincon

Men's 4 x 400 Relay - Omar Carranza, Gentaro Sasaki, James Rincon, Devyn Deckard Alternate runner: Sharieff Reed

Jordan Herrera ran the fastest time in the state in the 100 meters.
Sharieff Reed ran a personal best in the 200 meters to qualify.
Devyn Deckard qualified in the 400 Intermediate Hurdles.
Shane Brower  qualified in the 1500 meters.
Stirling McCulloch qualified in the High Jump.
Chimechi Oparanozi qualified in the Shot Put.

The SMC Women's Team qualified the following:

Women's 4 x 100 Relay: Amanda Yager, Michaela Cosentino, Shanna Bolden, Maria Martinez
Women's 4 x 400 Relay: Amanda Yager, Michaela Cosentino, Shanna Bolden, Jessica Robert Alternate runner: Maria Martines

Michaela Cosentino qualified in the high jump with a personal best  5'3" 

Amanda Yager qualified in the 400 Intermediate Hurdles
