The Santa Monica College Women's soccer team traveled down San Diego for an overnight trip to play Mira Costa College Friday September 7. The Corsairs fought hard and came out on top with a 3-0 win over the Spartans. 

Yosemite Cruz, the goal keeper for SMC  finished the game with her third shutout of the year in goal. Antoinette Saldana lead the way for the Corsairs with 2 goals, and Filippa Struxsjo added a goal to her stats for the year. 

The Corsairs posting a record of 4-0 return to the pitch Tuesday traveling to Santa Barbara City College (1-1-1) to take on the Vaqueros at 2:00 p.m.
