After a 3-0 loss against College of the Canyons, last Wednesday, the Corsairs hosted a Tri-Match, Friday, October 7th.

The first game took place at 1:00 pm, and the women opened strong against Desert College. the first two sets went to the Corsairs with great dominance 25-15. SMC could not maintain the same level of game, and lost the next two sets 25-20, 25-23. Fortunately, the women managed to play hard in the 5th set, and won 15-10, to get their 10th win of the season.

Coach Christian was worried that the team will be tired in the next match, against LA Mission, which took place the same day and started at 5:00 pm. But the women managed to play strong throughout the match in order to sweep 3-0.
