Streak Continues With a Reverse Sweep

A nail-baiter last night, as the men's volleyball team staged an impressive comeback against Santa Barbara Community College, securing a remarkable victory despite facing a bad start, and improving the winning streak against SBCC to 5.

Heading into the match, SMC found themselves without the services of starter Nate Kramer due to injury. The Vaqueros came out of the gates demonstrating their prowess by clinching the first two sets of the intense matchup. SBCC's strong start put the Corsairs on the back foot, but it was far from the end of the story.

With their backs against the wall, the men's volleyball team refused to have their heads down. Despite feeling the lingering effects of a tough five-set match against Moorpark just last Wednesday, the guys dug deep, displaying unwavering mental abilities.

The tide began to turn as SMC gradually found their rhythm, rallying together to mount an extraordinary comeback. As the match progressed, it became increasingly evident that SMC was not ready to concede defeat. With each point earned, they grew stronger. In a stunning turn of events, the SMC men's volleyball team completed a remarkable reversal, securing victory by clinching three consecutive sets to seal the match.
