Men's Football and Soccer, Women's Soccer and Volleyball, all have one thing in common this week. They all beat their opponents for a fantastic week opener.

The Football team hosted Southwest College for the annual homecoming match. The stands were packed, the cheerleading team was engaged, and the weather was beautiful for gameday. Two minutes to the end of the match, Southwest was up 28-23. An interception by Jai Guess turned into a touchdown. A minute to the end Southwest College scored to take the lead again. SMC went on a possession full of patience and rushed to the endzone 7 seconds to the end for the final score of 35-34.

Men's Soccer dominated Moorpark College away. Two goals in the first half and two in the second set the final score of 4-0. Philip Hephzibah (2), Milton De Oliveira and Jason Moreno scored.

Women's Soccer crushed West LA College at home. Three goals in each half set the final score of 6-0, with 6 different scorers.

Women's Volleyball hosted Citrus College and swept them with no issues 25-22, 25-12, 25-22.
