Santa Monica College Men's Soccer Head Coach Tim Pierce announced two signings this week.    Sophomore standouts Narciso Cervantes and Cyrille Njomo both signed national letter of intents. Cervantes is headed to Loyola Marymount while Njomo will head to Cal State Los Angeles.

Narciso Cervantes accomplishments at SMC

• Team Captain
• Team Most Valuable player
• All Western Conference selection
• All Regional selection

Cyrille Njomo's accomplishments at SMC:

• All Western State Selection
• Team Offensive MVP
• Leading scorer for 2018, and 2019.

"The coaching staff and the SMC Athletics Family are all very proud of these two young men," stated Head Coach Tim Pierce.  "We wish them the best of luck as they further their academic and athletic careers at the next level."

Both Cervantes and Njomo spoke positively about their soccer careers at Santa Monica College.  "I'm very thankful to have been a part of the SMC soccer team for three years." stated Cervantes. "My teammates and coaches supported me as I encountered triumphs and difficulties.  Whether it be physical, mental or emotional, they encouraged me and now I've gained a new band of brothers.  Moving forward is bittersweet but I know I can always come back to SMC and be welcomed as faily.  Thanks again to my teammates and coaching staff..."Go Corsairs!"
