Santa Monica College Women's Basketball lost their season opener in the Sisterhood Tournament at Pasadena City College 66-48.  The Corsairs struggled early as Imperial Valley led 28-22 at halftime.  SMC never got on track offensively shooting 32% for the game.

SMC plays tomorrow in the second round of the tournament at Noon against Palo Verde College.

The Corsairs were led by Maya Stokes (Windward High) (14 points and 9 rebounds) Chloe Sooferan (Beverly Hills High)  (10 points, 5 rebounds) and KJ Hudson (Santa Monica High) (8 points, 10 rebounds).
